Pearpoint – CCTV drain technology from push camera to crawler

Pearpoint covers drain inspection in its whole span: push cameras for service and underground drains, the Flexitrax crawler system for sewers where pushing gets you nowhere. CFT carries both routes – together with the answer as to which of them fits your network.

The Pearpoint range

The push cameras P541 to P543c are graduated by length and head; the Flexitrax P550c carries the camera motorised through larger sewers, the crawlers P354 and P356 cover the dimensions in between. Add camera heads, push aids, traceable sondes, reels and controllers. Whether your task needs a push camera or the crawler straight away is settled in the conversation before the order.

What these instruments are used for

Whoever buys inspection technology buys a way of working. The group inspects itself – from service connection to collector – and therefore knows which reel fits which vehicle, which head still delivers images on a gradient and where systems fail in everyday use. Those answers come with the purchase.

Introduction and training

Every system bought from us comes with an introduction: guiding, operating the controller, caring for cable and crawler. Advanced training in inspection practice is available on request.

Service, repair and calibration

Service and repair run through the group’s workshop service with a direct line to the manufacturer – findings and cost estimate before the work.

Frequently asked questions

Push camera or crawler – where is the line?

At dimension and distance: you push as long as force and cable reach – typically in service pipes and underground drains. In larger sewers and over long distances the crawler takes over. Many companies start with the push camera and add the crawler when the orders grow.

Can the camera position be located from the surface?

Yes – with a traceable sonde in the head, the camera can be followed from above and a defect marked directly at the surface.

Can the recordings be documented to standard?

The controllers record and label; documentation to standard depends on your evaluation software. Tell us what you document with – we tell you how the chain fits together.
